We are busy really turning the back half of the garage into a bunkhouse. We put up the divider wall and put in a little bathroom area last fall. Now it is time to insulate, paint the floor, put up some blinds, and move in a couple beds. Rick put a hole into the wall to set an air conditioner and some electric wall heaters to warm things up. It will be great to have the additional space.

Finished insulating the walls and put plastic over the ceiling and walls. WHEW! Itchy job with all the fiberglass. After a shower and a drink I can sit back and think about how nice it will be to have a playroom/ sewingroom/ bunkhouse at the cabin.
I am covered in fiberglass, but the insulation is in the ceiling of the new room. Yeah!

We are leaving Waukenabo on a perfect blue and windy Lake Waukenabo day. Summer is just too short. It will be late September before we return from our Maine explorations.

It has been a busy summer and then a long RV trip. The weather has been so nice and we have missed being at the cabin, but decided to close it up even though we would love to stretch the season into November. It looks like the weather will be changing soon.

I wonder why it had to be so cold in October that we closed the cabin and now is so nice that I wish I could go North and enjoy the lake. It will be soooo long until April when we can go back. I better go outside and enjoy it while I can.
